Our Client a well known and established 4 star hotel in Letterkenny now have an excellent opportunity for a Duty Mnager to join their management team. The Duty Manager will report to the Hotel General Manager. The Duty Manager will have hospitality and food and beverage experience. The main responsibilites are the following. Responsibility for all food and beverage areas including the grill, restaurant, bar, room service and kitchen as well as front of house, back of house and accommodation. This will include opening and closing, stock management, menu changes, monitoring waste, counting and balancing tills and reporting maintenance issues. As a member of the management team, you will ensure that the highest level of customer service, food quality, security, hygiene and presentation is maintained in all areas at all times. You will be responsible for monitoring and maximising sales. Your duties will include monitoring staff uniforms, implementing training, motivating staff and encouraging good staff relations. You will be responsible for rosters, working within budgets and ensuring correct levels of staff cover on a daily basis. Essential experince for the role of Duty Manager are the following. Duty Manager experience from the hospitality industry. Recent experience in a 3 or 4 star Hotel property. Have 2 to 3 years of hands on food and beverage experience. Working knowledge of Hygiene, Fire Procedures and Health and Safety. The Duty Manager will have excellent people management skills and strong organisational and prioritisation skills. The ability to maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
